Our Code of Conduct – Excellent Pearls School

Students Are Expected To:

Follow the directions and instruction of all school staff (teaching and non teaching).
Be conscious of the safety measures and the welfare of themselves and others.
Be punctual and enthusiastic
Be time conscious and result-oriented, and contribute positively to the learning environment by working responsibly, not distracting others, completing assignments and submitting them on time.
Show respect and courtesy to all members of the school community.
Respect personal and school property.
Be well groomed and dressed appropriately with the correct uniform.
Obey all rules and regulations of the school and classrooms.
Respect the right and privileges of all students, school staff and volunteers.
Ensure that everyone contributes towards making the school a pleasant place in which teaching and learning is encouraged.
Bullying in any form is unaccepted at the school.

Note: bullying is the intent to hurt or dominate another person by physical or verbal intimidation and also by exclusion or threatening gesture- this might lead to expulsion.

The school prohibits smoking, alcohol, fire arms and illegal use of drugs anywhere.
Food is only to be consumed at the designated areas.
Rubbish must be disposed of properly in the bin provided in the school.
Excellent Pearls expects the highest standard in language and behavior: verbal abuses of any kind including foul language or shouting is unacceptable in the school during school hours.
Loitering and truancy are unaccepted during school hours.
Stealing of any kind is not accepted in the school.
Examination malpractices shall not be tolerated.
All students must participate in the school activities otherwise produce an exemption note from the school authorities.
Gangs, cliques, cult activities are not allowed in the school community.
Immorality or immoral activities: fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, fondling etc are not encouraged.
Laptops brought to the school should not be used for activities that are capable of denting the image of the school, your good name, family name or destroy the purpose why you are here in school
Fighting of any kind is unacceptable.
